THE HISTORY OF ENGLAND. The following 5 volumes of Cooke's pocket edition of The History of England by Smollett, Hume, Cornick and Lloyd come from different undated editions but are all similarly bound in a lightly rubbed full leather, framed in gilt tooling with decorated gilt patterned spines and leather title and volume labels. They form an attractive group in very good condition measuring 5 ½” x 3 ½”. There is a fair amount of foxing of the prelims, but all text is clear and legible. They comprise:

2.William III – Queen Anne 1697-1710 328 pp by Smollett.
3.George III 1775-1783 316 pp by C M Cornick.
